Filming Location Guides and Whitewater Safety
RaftSiberia
is a California based outfitter that runs river trips in the Siberian
region of Russia during the Northern Hemisphere summer. During the winter
we are busy booking trips, but we also work as location guides assisting
location scouts in the Coast Range
and the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California.
We spend our free time running the rivers of Northern California and have visited most sections of whitewater river in the state. We can use this knowledge to help find the right river location for commercials, documentaries, and movies. We have recently worked with Camp Creative and Scott Trimble, a location scout in Northern California.
Once
a location has been chosen, we can find a qualified crew to assist with
the whitewater safety of the project. All of our crew members are first
aid and swiftwater rescue trained. Along with the training, Vlad and Zach
bring their excellent communication skills and teamwork that they have
developed over seven seasons working together on the class IV Tuolumne
River as guides.
We can also help find experienced kayakers and rafters to works as models or actor for your project. We commonly work and play with a wide variety of whitewater professionals that we can assemble for a casting call.
